Greetings, dear Sangha Family and Friends:
For those interested in traveling together Saturday morning in the spirit of flowing like a river together (i.e. meet beforehand in Baltimore, have a brief meditation, and depart as one) before arriving at the the People’s Climate March meet-up point in DC, this information is for you 🙂
Travel Plans:
- Meet and gather at I-70 AT SECURITY BLVD PARK AND RIDE, Baltimore, MD 21229 at 7:30A.M. (depart no later than 7:45A.M.)
- Caravan and drive ~40 min to GLENMONT METRO STATION where we park (ETA 8:30AM/8:45AM)
- Ride Red Line train ~25 min to UNION STATION (ETA 9-915)
- Walk 5 min to meet-up location at UPPER SENATE PARK
Drivers plan to leave Climate March activities no later than 2:30P.M. with estimated return time to Baltimore at approximately 4:00P.M.
- Currently, there are 2-3 confirmed cars departing the Security Blvd Park & Ride.
- There are several seats still available in cars if you are able to meet us at the Park & Ride Saturday morning by the appointed time. Please email bbmcspace@gmail.com ASAP or text 301-351-6633 for inquiries and to reserve a seat. Thank you!
- Additional drivers are also welcome to join us with an email/text notification (see above contact info). We invite you to discuss/decide return times with your respective passengers.
- Please make all final requests and/or notifications before 6:00A.M. Saturday morning. Thank you!
